Head on over to the video page to check our latest creation: Dudebrodios. It’s been finished for a few weeks now but at the very end we weren’t totally happy with it so we went in and tweaked some of the editing and made it the best it could be. It features Patrick James and Gary Hughes and we’re glad they graced us with their acting chops, dudes.

This weekend we’ll be getting some footage of a “secret” sketch in the can - it’s a little revisitation of an old sketch we did so keep your eyes peeled here for more info.

B'grips and others

Tomorrow I am headed over to Joe’s to put the final touches (music) on Dudebrodios so we should have that sketch online within the week if our friends Kingsbury send over the jingle they have so graciously made for us.

Also tomorrow, Joe and I will be working on the beginnings of a live show for the Carnies. We’ve had a few ideas over the years that we haven’t really gotten down but over the next few months we will be putting them down on paper to make it all a reality.

Speaking of making it a reality. We have pushed the Jury Duty sketch to the side, for the moment, while we film the Baby Grips sketch this weekend. In the next two weeks or so be expecting to see some news about it - we are very excited about this sketch, it will be our best to date without a doubt.

Overall, we have been very inspired in the Carnies Camp recently and we plan on taking the momentum to the next level. Be expecting much more output from us in the future.

In the Can

Our latest sketch is “in the can” as they say. We just need to tie up a few loose ends (music, graphics) but principal shooting is over! Keep your eyes peeled to the videos page in the next week or so for the video premiere of Dudebrodios.

Next in the pipeline for us is a “sketch” of sorts. It’s actually based on a real life tale of why you always pay attention while doing jury duty. We’re currently securing the location for this shoot and it looks to be our best set to date. More info soon.

An Update With Actual Production News

As of today things are looking good on the horizon. Here’s the news.

I updated the video section of the site, there are a few of our videos up over there. Up currently are the Epicsode (Parts I-III), The entire saga of Bugzonic (including the trailer and “deleted scene”), and a few older sketches; The Power of the Moustache, Sex Songs For Kids, and In The Vagina. Look for a few older sketches to appear over there in the next few days (Ass Periods will be one of them!).

We also filmed a sketch yesterday and it will be online anyday now. It’s a little Traveling Carnies version of what it might be like if Santa were doing stand-up at your local open mic night. It’s called Santa Does Stand-Up (original, we know). I got a sneak peak of the rough cut and it looks great. We’re excited about getting you all into the Christmas spirit, Carnies style.

Also in the can is another sketch we’ve been working on for a month or so now. It will be up sometime in January and it will inform you about a great new cereal. We don’t know if you got the memo or not, but cereal isn’t just for kids anymore. Keep your eyes peeled while walking down the aisle of your favorite local grocery store for Dudebrodios.

We’ve got the scripts written out for a few more sketches so in general, keep your browser pointed this way over the next few months and we’ll keep you laughing.

Be expecting a website update within the next week or two with a new video’s page. We’ll be posting all of the latest videos we have produced along with some oldies but goodies.

We’re in pre-production on a few new shorts so be expecting those to hit the web within the next month or so as well. We’ve also got a tentative shooting date in two weeks for our next sketch which we are really excited about. Keep your eyes peeled. Things should be happening much quicker around these parts over the next few months as we will try and up our output to match the ammount of scripts we have just laying around.

If you notice, we’ve changed the main news page (the one you’re looking at now dummy) to a different format so we can update the news more frequently. We’ve hooked it up to be a blog so be expecting more news from us over the coming weeks.

There are some other big changes going on around the Carnies camp so keep your eyes tuned in to this page as we announce our future projects and as our ideas come to fruition.
